Day 1
Day 1 of the New England tour was spent traveling to Clinton NJ. We stayed in the same hotel as always and ate at our favorite pizza spot, Pizza Como. It was at this point that I broke my small canon camera, I still have my good Nikon of course but with the small camera I can easily do things like take photos of the cheeseburger I had for lunch with out looking like a complete freak. At the hotel me and Sally (names changed to protect the innocent) decided to go out to the Jitterbug to listen to music. There was a 12 dollar cover charge which I found to be horrifying on my tight budget but it was going to a good cause, hungry children or something like that. We immediately picked up a friend by the name of Tim. He was very happy to be in the company of two lady's who were hopefully drinking themselves into loose inhibitions. He was out of luck though Sally was only to the white man's overbite phase and that isn't nearly drunk enough to follow a stranger home to his sex dungeon.
Other than the fun that comes along with random people in bars the music was also very good. All the bands were part of a local record label and they were all surprisingly good considering the venue, we only stayed around for 3 bands, then we had to call it a night for the long drive to Boston the next day.
The Mill at Clinton, I'm sure it has a better name than that but I don't know it
Just a pic of a disco ball
A blue cherry?
These guys were just kids but they were great, they played a mixtureof original music as well as Coldplay and Third Eye Blind covers.
Didn't catch the name of any of these bands but the lead singerfor this one owns the record label they are all under.
