Predators

It is confirmed that Robert Rodriguez is going to do a "reboot" of the original Predator. I'm still a big fan of the original and ordinarily I'd say, oh come one that movie is classic why mess with it. Then again we are talking about Robert Rodriguez and I like just about everything he does (except his kid movies but then again he has to do the lame, popular with the kiddies movies so he can get the cash to do the movies he wants the way he wants to do them) so I for one am stoked to see his version of Predator. I do so hope Antonio makes the cast.

Also apparently getting the green light for Rodriguez is Machete which was a mock trailer that appeared during Grindhouse, so loved was this trailer that it is actually getting a movie. He is also working on Sin City 2 and there is some talk that he is going to do a Jetson's movie


The Green Lantern

Not too much out on this movie yet it is still mostly rumors but it looks like Bradley Cooper will be playing The Green Lantern, this still may not be 100 percent sure. It is set to come out according to imdb.com in June of 2011 and will be directed by Martin Campbell.

Again this isn't a character that I'm too familiar with just saw the info and thought I'd pass it along.




The Birds Remake

While looking up info on Martin Campbell I saw where he is set to do remake of The Birds staring Naomi Watts. I'm sure this could stand to upset a lot of Hitchcock fans but I for one would like to see that movie done with some better special effects. I always thought it was a very creepy concept but when you go back and watch the movie now the effects are quite laughable, I mean I'm sure at the time it came out it was cutting edge but man today's movie goers have slightly higher standards.
