January 2010 has been pretty uneventful so far. I spent the New Years watching Dick Clark while Raven had to work. I don't really make resolutions because I rarely ever keep them There are some changes I'd like to make this year. For start I plan on applying to grad school which I have to do right away because most schools have a January 15th deadline. I have a few schools in mind but I don't know if I can get in or even afford them for that matter. Even if I get loans I'm not sure I want to go 80,000 in the hole for another degree that could prove to be as worthless as the one I have now.

If things don't work out for grad school I want to find a better job even if that means moving again, and NO MORE RETAIL. I resolve to never spend another Christmas season in a mall, but jobs in Asheville are just as hard to come by as they were in WV so I guess I should be lucky I have anything at all.
