On a recent walk through the neighborhood, Raven and I came across this discarded rose on the sidewalk, still with the plastic water spike on the end. I wonder what were the circumstances of this ending up beside the road. Was it an angry lover who's heart could not be bought back so easy. Maybe a gift of unrequited love, or it could have just been dropped by accident. Well what ever the case it sure made for a neat picture.

On a recent trip to Goodwill I came across this odd piece of home decor, which also serves a function as an ash tray. I couldn't help but snap a picture of this because it really just makes zero sense. First off why would you want what looks like a severed foot for an ash receptacle. Second why oh why is the big toe pointed so ridiculously in the air.

Also I noticed that Goodwill is now holding on to the really good donations and putting them in a silent auction. This is good for raising money and all but isn't that part of the fun when shopping second hand, the chance of getting a 10 dollar Prada bag instead of a stained NoBo shirt that probably cost more used than new.
